Spring Celebration: Hıdrellez

Hıdırellez or Hıdrellez is one of the holidays where the end of winter is celebrated in Anatolia and the Balkans, Central Asia and the Middle East. In Turkey, Hıdrellez Day is celebrated on the night that connects 5 May to 6 May. Hıdrellez is also called Ruz-ı Hızır (Hizir day).
